A newsletter begins with a clear choice

The planned direction covers website forms and server-side signup events without asking ordinary subscribers for irrelevant job details.

Collect only what the newsletter needs

A simple subscription often needs an email address and, optionally, a name or language preference. Company and job title should not be mandatory for a general newsletter. Explain what the person will receive, how often, and how to leave. If confirmation is enabled, make it clear that the address is not subscribed until the confirmation step completes.

API design concept (not an active endpoint)

A future integration could accept a project token on the server, validate the request, normalize the address, apply duplicate rules and preserve unsubscribe state. Never place a private token in browser JavaScript or a public repository. The example is conceptual; Cadensy does not publish a working newsletter API endpoint here.

Keep the preference durable

Record the source and time of the signup in the system that owns the permission. A repeat signup should not silently reverse an unsubscribe. These API and subscription functions are planned and their availability has not been announced. Contact us for status.
